And near the middle gate in the Cummings range. Aged 44.
May 14. Interred P.M. Everett in the old yard and three feet south of his child’s grave.
Aged 65.
May 17. Entombed Elizabeth Blodgett wife of Timothy Blodgett in the tomb of Blodgett
? and Drury on the south side directly upon two other coffins. Aged 84.
May 22. Entombed Gardner Fassett son of Joseph Fassett of Jaffrey N.H. in the Brewer
And Fassett tomb. Coffin placed upon the floor the south side of the tomb.

May 24. Interred an infant child of Oren Brooks in Lot 42 six feet from the south line of
The Lot. Aged 2 weeks.
May 24. Removed the remains of the son of Dexter Pratt from the Brewer and Fassett
Tomb and interred the same in Lot 40 six feet from the south line of the Lot.
June 5. Interred Eliza wife of Nelson Howe in Lot 110. The coffin lies 44 inches north
Of the north side of the south curbstone leaving the 44 inches unoccupied.
Aged 35.
June 6. Interred an infant child of Franklin Kendall in Lot 83 – six feet north from the
South line of the Lot. Aged 6 Mo.
June 10. Removed the remains of a child of Benson White from the Sabin and Bowker
Tomb and interred the same in Lot 52. Also the remains of two children formerly
Interred in the old yard near the foot gravestone of Mark Towne and interred the
Same in Lot 52. The first child formerly interred six feet north of the south line
Of said Lot. The other two in the order in which they died directly north of the
First mentioned grave.
June 10. Removed the remains of two children of Hiram P. Hayden from the Sabin and
Bowker tomb and interred the same in Lot 41. The youngest six feet north of the
South line of the Lot and the other by its north side.
June 17. Removed the remains of two small children of Silas Hayden from near the foot
Of Esau Hayden’s grave and interred the same the first five and one half feet
North of the south line of Lot 97 and the other directly north of it. Also the re-
Mains of a child from the Sabin and Bowker tomb and interred the same north of
The two above mentioned.
June 29. Removed the remains of Mrs. Harriet Pond wife formerly of B.F. Pond from
The Wait and Fairbanks tomb and interred the same in Lot 65 first north of the
Grave of Anna Wait – full seven feet south of the center of the elm tree at the
North end of said Lot.
July 4. Interred John Q.A. Potter in Lot 126 first north of the grave of a child of Rufus B.
Potter and about seven feet north of the south line of the Lot. Aged 21.
July 6. Interred Abel Harris in Lot 125 two feet north of his Mother’s grave and about
Eight feet north of the south line of the Lot. Aged 27.
July 31. Interred Mrs. Mary Howe relict of Nahum Howe directly the south side of her
Husband”s grave. Aged 84.
Aug. 13. Interred Mrs. Naomi Osborn relict of Benjamin Osborn in Lot 128 two and half
Feet from the south line of the Lot. Aged 61.
Aug. 18. Interred Cummings Damon in Lot G. south of the main avenue and about 13
Feet south of the north line of the Lot. Aged 23.
Aug. 24. Interred A. Bemis wife of G.P.Bemis in a Lot south of the main avenue and
Directly opposite of Lot 43 in the new yard and about ten feet from the avenue

Nov. 24.Interred a child of George Everett on the south side of Main avenue and directly
Opposite of Lot and about ? feet from the said avenue. Aged 6 Mos.
Nov. 27. Carried the remains of Joab B. Johnson from Howesville to Dover, VT. For
Buriel Aged 20 Yrs.
Dec. 14. Entombed Azubah G. Whitney daughter of Samuel Whitney in the Foster and
Fay tomb. The coffin lays at the foot of the stair. Aged 11 Yrs.
Dec. 25. Deposited the remains of Capt. Thomas Sweetser in the tomb of Sabin Heiss on
The north side of the tomb. Aged 42 Yrs.

March 18.Interred Marinda wife of David Taft in Lot 98 directly south of his little child-
Ren’s graves. Aged 43 Yrs.
March 25. Interred Mrs. Wilson relict of Artemus Wilson directly south of his grave in
Wilson and Fullam range. Aged 88 Yrs. 10 Mos.
April 3. Interred Lydia Reed wife of Phineas Reed in Lot 141 and first south of his first
Wife’s grave. Aged 80 Yrs.
April 11. Removed from the Sabin and Bowker tomb the remains of Eunice Byam and
Interred the same first south of a small grave and about three feet south of the
Grave of his father Abel Byam.

July 17. Interred Sally Stone relict of James Stone, Jr. two feet south of her son Geo. N.
Stone’s grave. Aged 67
Aug. 4. Removed the remains of the late wife of Philemon Fairbanks from the S & A
Tomb and interred the same in a lot just west of John Damon’s about six feet
From the north end of the lot.
Aug. 8. Interred Sarah Fairbanks just south of her Mother’s grave. Aged 41.
Sept. 16. Mary Locke wife of William Locke was interred directly south of her daughters
Lucy W. and Mary L. Locke and a little southwest of Capt. James Godferys
Grave.
Sept. 25. Interred Widow Damon in her son John Damon’s lot south side of the passway
Between the old and new ground buried directly between her husband and son.
Aged 79.
Sept. 30. Interred a child of Alfred Whitney in lot No. 149 5 feet from inside of the south
Front post in new yard.
Oct. 31. Interred by W.D. Locke Lucy W. Thompson north side of a lot laid out by
George C. Everett in the old yard 2nd lot west of the Sabin Monument 1st range.
Aged 32 Yrs.
Nov. 22. Interred Levi Collins lot 155 2 ½ feet from the south line of 2nd lot.
Dec. 1. Entombed the Widow Hannah Spaulding in Damon & Pratt tomb. Aged 82.
Dec. 10. Interred Emma F. Carter an adopted child of Mr. Charles Carter in a lot laid out
By Dea. J. Carter on the old yard about two rods east of the Sabin monunent.
Dec. 26. Disinterred the remains of Mr. Solomon Robinson and deposited the same in
Pratt & Damon tomb to be removed from there to Putney Vt. For reinterrment.
He was interred in the grave yard is Fitz. June 1838. Aged 98 Yrs.
Jan. 10, 1852. Interred Mr. Calvin Smith Senior in a lot in the old grave yard lain out
By himself 1 ½ feet south of his wife’s grave. Aged 83 Yrs.
Jan. 13. The remains of widow Hannah Spaulding and Mr. Solomon Robinson were taken
From the tomb and carried to Putney Vt. For reinterrment.
Jan. 21. Entombed a child of G.C. Everett in the tomb of F. Pratt & J. Damon.
Feb. 2. Brought from Marlboro the remains of Mrs. Knights relict of the late Wm.
Knights and deposited the same in the Pratt & Damon tomb. Aged 84 Yrs.
Feb. 27 Entombed the remains of Mrs. Ruth Gorton wife of Wm. Gorton. Aged 23 Yrs.
April 1. Entombed the remains of Phinehas Reed, Esq. in the Pratt & Damon tomb.
Aged 87 Yrs.
May 1. Carried the remains of Mrs. Marshal for interment in the grave yard near
Ambrous Spalding in Jaffrey. Aged 85 Yrs.
June 2. Removed the remains of Phinehas Reed , Esq. to lot No. 141 new yard south of
His last wife’s lot bounded on the avenue.
June 2. Removed the remains of Mrs. Lydia Knight and the same next north of her
Husband Wm. Knight’s grave about 3 rods east of the Hearse house.
June 2. Removed the remains of Edith child of Geo. C. & Frances M. Everett to a lot
First south side of the avenue old yard next east of Dea. J. Carter’s lot.
June 3. Brought the remains of Miss Betsy Penneman from Brattleborough, Vt. And
Deposited the same in the tomb of Pratt & Damon. Aged 65 Yrs.
July 2. Interred the remains of Nancy Foster directly south 1 ½ feet from her Father
And Mother’s graves. Aged 45 Yrs.
July 15. Interred the remains of Mr. Peter Prescott old yard directly between his wife’s
And his son Benja Prescott’s graves west of the Hearse house about 2 rods from
The wall on the road. Aged 94 Yrs.
August 10. Entombed Dr. Thomas Richardson in the 3rd tomb from the North and of the
Range of tombs near the south gate. Aged 86 Yrs.
August 21. Interred Lydia A.F. Milne in lot No. 54 new yard 1½ feet north of her Father
And Mother, Samuel Felch and his wife’s graves. Aged 31 Yrs.
Sept. 9. Interred a young child of Mr. P. Pettiplace in lot No. 30 six feet north of the south end of the lot.
Sept. 15.Interred an infant child of Mr. Streeter in lot No. 56 five feet north of the grave of Mrs. Serena Johnson.
Sept/ 16. Entombed the remains of Cheney Flagg son of Mr. William Flagg in the tomb
Reuben Pratt on the east side.
Sept. 18. Entombed a young child of Mr. B.B. Davidson of Rindge in the Reuben Pratt
Tomb.
Sept. 20. Interred Reuben Pratt in his Lot No. 79 first grave on the south line of the Lot.
Sept. 23. Removed the remains of the child of B.B. Davison from the R. Pratt’s tomb and
Interred the same in Lot 29 about seven feet from the south line of Lot. Aged 15
Months.
Sept. 23. Removed the remains of Cheney Flagg from the R. Pratt tomb and interred the
Same in Lot 2 five feet from the south line of Lot. Aged 24 Yrs.
Oct. 6. Interred Rosella Wyman, wife of Mr. Henry Wyman in Lot No. 156 New Yard
5 feet from the inside of the stone posts on south side of Lot. Mrs. Wyman was
brought to the town from Greenfield for interment. Age 22 Yrs.
Nov. 7. Interred Mr. Milton Byam in Lot No. 112 New Yard 4 ½ feet from south line of Lot. Aged 20 Yrs.
Nov. 9. Interred a child of Flint Howe in Lot No. 118 New Yard. Aged 2 ½ Yrs.
Nov. 10. Disinterred and removed the remains of a child of Flint Howe and interred the
Same in Lot No. 118 with his other child 8 ½ feet from south line of Lot.
Dec. 1. Interred John Damon in his Lot laid out by himself, West Lot but one on Old
Yard, first directly south of his first wife. Aged 50 Yrs.
Dec. 30. Entombed Mr. George Bissell in the Pratt & Damon Tomb north side of Tomb.

Jan. 2, 1853. Interred a child of J.T. Collins in his Lot No. 64 New Yard 1 foot south of
His other child’s grave. Aged 5 Mos.

Damon Tomb West side. Aged 49 Yrs.
Mar. 10. Entombed the remains of Mr. Amos Davis in the Pratt & Damon Tomb East
Side. Aged 63 Yrs.
Mar. 20. Sunday. Carried the remains of Miss Phebe Sprague to Phillipstown, Mass. for
Interment. Miss Sprague died as home of Chancy Davis senior. Aged 66 Yrs.
Mar. 31. Entombed the remains of Mrs. Sophronia Newton wife of Mr. Willard Newton

August 1.Interred a child of William Milne in Lot No. 54 New Yard 1 foot directly north
Of its Mother’s grave . Aged 11 months & 11 days.
August 17. Interred Susan wife of Mr. Warren Pratt in his Lot No. 78 New Yard 3 ½ feet
North of the south corner posts of lot. Aged 32 Yrs.
August 17. Interred a twin daughter of Mr. George Ellis in his Lot No. 127 New Yard 1 foot directly north of his other child’s grave. Aged 2 Yrs.
August 21. Interred the other twin daughter of Mr. George Ellis in his Lot No. 127 just
North of her twin sister-beautiful children- So fades the lovely blooming flowers.
August 24. Interred Charles Hill son of Mr. Samuel Hill about 3 rods Northeast of the
Hearsehouse and first on the south side of his other son’s grave. Aged 14 Yrs.
August 29. Interred a child of George Damon in Lot No. 133 7 ½ feet from the south

Oct. 4 Interred Miss Rachel Brewer daughter of Capt. Asa Brewer in Lot No. 87 New
Yard 8 ½ feet from the south corner pasts. Aged 20 Yrs.
Oct. 11. Interred a daughter of Mr. Noah Miles of Royalston, Ma. brought to this town and interred at the southwest corner of the old yard next south of her sister’s
Grave which is first directly south of her Grandmother & Grandfather Joel Miles,
And wife’s graves. Refferance (sic) being had thereunto. Aged 15 Yrs.

7 feet north of the south corner posts of said lot. Aged 16 Yrs.
Oct, 19. Interred Wm. Flagg in No. 2 New Yard first grave directly north of the south
Line of said lot. Aged 67 Yrs.
Oct. 27. Interred Clarissa wife of Mr. George W. Simonds in lot No. 102 3 feet south of
His daughter’s grave and 3 feet north of south line of said lot in New Yard.
