Hours
The Amos J. Blake House Museum is open for tours Saturdays 1:00-4:00 pm, Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. We are also open for research 9:00-11:00 am every Tuesday morning. We are open by appointment only on the first Saturday of the month from 9:00-11:00, unless other arrangements have been made. The Museum is closed during the months of January and February.

Map & Directions

From Boston: Drive west on Route 2. Beyond Fitchburg, take 140 North. When 140 joins Route 12, continue north (left) on route 12 through Winchendon and into New Hampshire. When you reach Route 119 (blinking light), turn left onto Route 119. Turn left at the stop sign by the Village Common. The Amos J Blake House is the first house on the right. It takes approximately 50 minutes to reach Fitzwilliam from the junction of Routes 2 and 495.
From Connecticut and New York City: Go north on Route 91 past Hartford, Springfield and Greenfield. Turn off at exit 28A (Route 10 East). Go east on Route 10. After crossing the Connecticut River, turn left and continue to follow Route 10 North through Northfield and into New Hampshire. At the second traffic light in Winchester, turn right onto Route 119. Follow Route 119 through Richmond to Fitzwilliam. At Fitzwilliam Depot, take a sharp left (still on Route 119), and follow that road up to Fitzwilliam Center. The Amos J Blake house is the last house on the left, opposite the Village Common. It takes approximately 45 minutes to reach Fitzwilliam from Greenfield, MA.
From Keene, NH: Go south on Route 12, through Troy. Continue south until you reach the blinking light at the intersection of Route 119. Turn right onto Route 119. Turn left at the stop sign by the Village Common. The Amos J Blake House is the first house on the right. Fitzwilliam is approximately 25 minutes from Keene.
From Nashua, Manchester, NH: Go west on Route 101 to Peterborough. At Peterborough, take 202 south. Stay on Route 202 through Jaffrey to Rindge. At the traffic light at the intersection of Route 119 in Rindge, turn right. Stay on Route 119 through the blinking light at the intersection of Route 12. Turn left at the stop sign by the Village Common. The Amos J Blake House is the first house on the right. Fitzwilliam is approximately 1 hour from the junction of Routes 101A and 3 in Nashua.
