FITZWILLIAM HISTORICAL SOCIETY ANNUAL STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
Our Annual Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday, June 26th from 1-4 on the historic Town Common, Route 119, rain or shine. Luscious strawberries, fresh whipped cream, warm biscuits and homemade lemonade will delight you. This old- fashioned country event will feature live music as well as tours of the Amos J. Blake House Museum, located across from the Town Common. Proceeds from the Strawberry Festival will benefit the activities sponsored by The Fitzwilliam Historical Society and provides further funding for the upkeep of the Amos J. Blake House Museum, owned by the Society.
We are having live music featuring the band “Friendly Folk”. They play a wide range of traditional folk and contemporary acoustic music including Celtic song sea shanties, originals and a bit of country. Instruments are guitars, bass, pennywhistle and harmonica.
In addition, young families are highly encouraged to join us for this festive summer event. Special activities will be provided for small children in the new Tavern Room within the museum. Kids activities within the museum are free as are tours of the museum.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
